New Business Developement & Channel Manager - Base Pay + Commission
Save More Resources (SMR), a leader in energy software sales, takes great pride in being awarded the coveted 2006 Energy Star® Partner of the Year Award by the EPA and Department of Energy (DOE). SMR is a provider of energy-saving related services and soft-ware products that helps corporations, school districts, state and local governments reduce their energy bills by 5%-15% a year.
Because of our tremendous success, along with being a recipient of the 2006 Energy Star Partner of the Year Award, SMR is looking for a New Business Development/Channel Sales Manager who can help SMR continue to grow.
We are seeking people who enjoy working in the energy services industry and understand the complexities of individual, corporate, and government energy needs.
The primary objective of this position is to develop, lead and manage the reseller channels:
- Identify potential reseller needs and interests and effectively communicate benefits and opportunities of SMR products through hands-on management
- Assist, as needed, to execute sales through resellers
- Negotiate and close reseller contracts
Applicants should have significant experience in identifying and qualifying new prospects, conducting sales presentations, building and maintaining customer relationships, developing proposals, and coordinating RFPs along with the following:
- Proven track record of channel management success in establishing and maintaining distributor relationships in the energy services industry
- Provide leadership to strategically develop, direct, and monitor our Customer Care Operation
- Fortune 500 Rolodex of customers and contacts
- BS or BA in marketing, engineering, business, or equivalent work experience
- Proven self-starter (time manager), able to meet goals with limited supervision
- 5+ years of direct sales/channel management experience
Outside Sales Representative - Base Pay + Commission
Are you capable of utilizing your sales talents to realize an uncapped bonus potential of $100,000 plus?
- Develop an extensive working knowledge of SMR's pipeline in order to understand opportunities and obstacles
- Develop new and maintain existing market opportunities
- Call upon industry connections and experience to create new leads (energy industry experience helpful but not required)
